EVENT DESCRIPTION
The Rapha Women’s 100 is a celebration of women’s cycling and the community it creates around the world. On 6th September 2020, women on every continent will ride 100 kilometres in one day, making lasting memories, forging new friendships and inspiring each other to achieve a collective goal. Ride with us.

This ride will be led by Martina Blumenthal. Born in Germany and now living in Los Angeles, Martina discovered the Los Angeles Clubhouse by walking by and knew it was a special community.

She says: “My first ride with RCC was the Rapha Women's 100 in 2018. I met all these incredible, inspiring women on bikes who were stronger and faster than me. We need more women in cycling, and the Women's 100 is a good way to reach out to newcomers. That's how I found RCC.”

Acting as sweeper for the ride is Claire Law. Born in Hong Kong, Claire grew up in Vancouver Canada and is now living in Seattle.

“The Women's 100 is an opportunity for women in the local riding community to come together and just celebrate riding. For some, it might be their first metric century, while others might see it as an easy day on the bike. I think it gives newer riders a goal and a chance to see strong women on bikes all around the world.”

The ride will be at a social pace, with an opportunity for a comfort break somewhere around the mid-way mark. See you on the virtual road!
