ABOUT THE 7-ELEVEN CYCLING TEAM

Ride alongside former 7-Eleven team riders Alex Steida, Norm Alvis, Thomas Craven, Tommy Matush, Scott McKinley and Tom Schuler. Founded in 1981 as an amateur team, 7-Eleven was one of the most successful teams in U.S. cycling history. The team turned professional in 1985 and was selected for the Giro d'Italia where they won a stage. In 1986 they became the first U.S. team to ride the Tour de France and 7-Eleven rider Alex Stieda wore the yellow jersey.

GROUP WORKOUT FORMAT

Zwifters line up in the starting area just like a normal event and once the event starts, workout mode begins. Everyone stays together regardless of power output. That's right, if you're outputting 100W and another Zwifter is outputting 400W you will stay in exactly the same position relative to each other. Only if you stop pedaling and fall 6 meters behind the group will the rubber-banding stop.
