EVENT DESCRIPTION

DESCRIPTION: This is a workout we will use to prepare athletes for draft legal, ITU style racing, where there are repeated, short accelerations throughout with longer periods at slightly lower intensities. Athletes need to be able to cope with the accelerations and recover at a high intensity without the bike having a negative impact on their run performance. This session will also have a good benefit in moving your Vo2 and top end aerobic zones on but you'll need to be in good basic aerobic condition to cope with and get the most out of this type of session.

Getting started with scored races
You'll need to finish a few rides before you can join your first scored race. With more data we'll be able to recommend the best group for you to compete against.
