EVENT DESCRIPTION
Welcome to our friendly, longer length (and possibly hilly) group ride. Aimed at building endurance, giving an extended workout and curing Sunday morning hangovers (Note: one of these things may not actually happen).

This is a group ride, we aim to support each other. It's not a race, but take care not to lose the draft of the main group. Sweepers will be helping out when available, look for the Red Beacon and give them a shout if you need a wheel...

Pace:
• 2.3 w/kg on Flat sections
• 2.7 w/kg on Hills/Climbs

Regrouping:
We regroup so the faster riders, who want to push hard on the climbs, wait for leader and slower riders. Leader will pace climbs as an average at minimum advertised climbing pace.

Try to keep up with or in front of the leader on the climb. The leader will roll through the regroup points rather than stop.

We regroup after main descents, for example:

• Big Loop/Bigger Loop: after Epic KOM – regroup by the Windmill after the Jungle Circuit Curtain
• Pretzel: after Epic KOM – regroup by the Seaplanes before the Marina

To regroup come to a complete stop or roll on at less than 1.0 w/kg until the main group catches up.

Total duration will be between 1hr 30mins and 3hrs approx (depending on route). There's no obligation to complete the full distance, you’re welcome to join for as long as you have available and we’re very happy to have you along.
