Welcome to the 3rd year of the Team Worlds Event. This year we have also added the women’s individual event.
The event instructions are extensive and we would ask you to visit the main event web page to read through them carefully.
There will be 7 starting pens for the event, please make sure you enter the correct one for your category.

Please read the details on scoring for the event, it is important that all riders finish the race in support of their parent team in the team competition.

Scoring The Event 
All scoring will be carried out by individual categories and all finishing riders will receive points 
Break Down of Points: 
Points will be awarded in a descending order: 
The first rider from each category across the finish line will score 1 point.
2nd rider over the line will score 2 points
3rd rider will receive 3 points and so on until the last finisher. 
Team Category Competition:​
All categories will start separately in different modules and each rider will only race in their own recognised category.​
Each team must consist of a min of 3 and a max of 6 riders.
The first 3 rider’s points of each team in each category will be scored towards that Category Team Competition to determine the best Category A, B, C and D teams.
Any team having less than 3 finishers will be removed from the team category competition although the riders positions will remain on the finishers list
The team with the lowest score for the 3 best riders will be declared the winner.
In the event of a draw, the best-placed rider will be used as the tiebreaker. 
KOM: 
Points will be awarded in all categories for the KOM's Fwd and Reverse
The fastest times can be achieved on any lap.
Only times recorded on the World Team Strava KoM league tables will qualify for points.
1st, 2nd and 3rd, 4th, 5th, fastest on the KOM will gain bonus points.
Any riders gaining bonus points MUST FINISH THE RACE but do not have to be in the top 3 of the team crossing the line.
If the bonus rider does not complete the race then the team will not receive the bonus points for the Competition.
Points:   -7, -5, -3, -2, -1 
If there is a tie(s) then riders will be given the same points i.e. tie for fastest time points would be -7, -7, -3, -2, -1     ​

​Overall Team Competition:
For a Team to qualify in the Overall Team competition each has to field a team in 3 of the 4 cats or the best 3 teams out of 4 will count.
Any category team that has 3 or more but less than 6 riders in the event will receive points for the missing riders at the rate of the last rider score. So if the last rider has a score of 150 that is what missing or DNF,DNS riders will receive
A category teams score in the team competition will comprise of 6 rider point scores (either actual or average points (as described above)).
Any team having less than 3 finishers in a category will not be able to count that category within the overall team competition.
Teams are scored by position in each category. I.e. Top A team in Team Category Competition scores 1, 2nd placed team scores 2 etc.
Lowest 3 scoring cat teams total win the Overall Team competition.
Admin Decision will be final
Note: KOM’s winners will be validated via strava league table, and category winners via Zwiftpower to ensure fairness for all teams.
