EVENT DESCRIPTION
Come and join Team CLS CC at 18:50 for our weekly Chill 'n' Spin Sunday Ride. Put on your long socks for this one and prepare to take it easy for a change as we focus on RECOVERY.

The ride is aimed at spinning out those tired legs and just having a relaxing 60 minutes or so to burn off a few extra calories and freshen up and sore muscles. Please use Tag - (CLS) after your Surname to help us identify riders. We will ride at 1.8 to 2.0 w/kg on the flats spinning at 80 to 90 cadence and switch to 2.5 w/kg max on the climbs at 55 to 65 rpm to stretch the legs.

A lot of us work hard on our other rides both on Zwift and In Real Life and this is a chance to enjoy a friendly group ride and practice your in ride typing skills. This is also a fantastic ride if you are either new to Zwift or recovering from injury, as it places very little strain on the body and is a relatively short session. We have ‘SWEEPERS’ on this ride but we do ask that riders with drop outs type ‘HELP’ if they want one of them to come back and help you back to the group. Too often they come back to find people either running intervals at the back or simply ending their ride!

Come and join us, it would be great to meet some new people and welcome them to our group. We run a Facebook Group - Team CLS CC which we encourage people to follow for news and other group ride info and events. It is also a great place to ask any questions you may have about Zwift and we will do our best to answer them for you. For your information, we run an INTERVAL session on Tuesday and a TEMPO and CLIMBING one on Thursdays both at the same time as this. They are great workout sessions that will improve your fitness. Then finally, on Saturday we have a 50-mile Social ENDURANCE ride at 09:00 on mixed terrain. We have tried to put together a weekly package that will allow riders to both enjoy their indoor sessions and back that up with some great workout sessions that will improve your fitness.
