EVENT DESCRIPTION
Purpose: Help each other stay on the trainer for those long, but necessary, hours in the winter.

Tuesdays we’ll roll for 2.5 hours mostly at a steady pace (3.0-3.5 w/kg). Ride leader may include some sections of tempo (4.0 w/kg) at their discretion. This ride should be low Zone 2, with some Zone 3 for the stronger riders and barely-doable for newer riders. If you are a stronger rider, please remember that this is a hard ride, and the purpose is to motivate each other. Don’t blow the ride up, it’s selfish and nobody thinks it’s cool. This is the time of year for grabbing some base miles. It’s hard to focus for 2.5 hours by yourself, so roll with the group!

All 3T / Q+M Rides will stick to the posted w/kg, program or workout. Ride leaders will communicate often and clearly about pace. The purpose of these rides is to help each other stay on for long periods of time, so let’s keep it together. If you feel like it’s too easy at first, don’t worry, we promise it will be plenty hard. If this ride doesn’t make you tired, go race in the Worth Tour, or calibrate your equipment properly. If you still feel like these rides are too easy, there are a billion other rides & races to click on, perhaps this one isn’t for you.

Again, please do not blow up the ride; nobody thinks it’s cool.
