ABOUT THIS WORKOUT

CX Start Interval 5x5min

One of my workouts though the cyclocross season. After a quit long warmup (25min) we start each interval with a 30sec effort at 140% FTP and for 4:30 min at 100% FTP.

With these intervals we simulate the typical effort at the start of an CX Race or an attacking move within an (road) - race.

ABOUT RAD RACE

Our mission: Stop Racism - Start Raceism! No matter on what bike you ride. What your colour of your skin is. Your religion. We don't care where you come from and why you ride. We just wanna share our passion for cycling with you. We are 12 friends with a dream. Our own event series and our own cycling apparel. Follow us and ride safe. Race fast.

We have a dream. Organizing wild cycling events. Rad Races. Releasing awesome cycling apparel. Shooting films and photos to show the world how great cycling can be. It really doesn't matter on what kind of bike you ride. No matter what. Just ride.

ABOUT THE RAD PACK

Home is where your crew is.

When we founded the RAD RACE, the idea was to bring rad riders of all disciplines together. We always felt great on our bikes. The only way to feel even better was to ride with our friends in one team. That's why we formed our own pack. The primary goal of the RAD PACK was not to win races, but to have as much fun as possible at wild and crazy bike events. Not the usual spandex shit. We just wanted to have a good time with awesome people and support our friends with travel costs and hard-& software from some of the most amazing partners out there that believe in what we do. Think of us as a couple of friends that love cycling, nature and wild races of course. So this is it. This is the RAD PACK.

ABOUT GROUP WORKOUTS

Zwifters line up in the starting area just like a normal event and once the event starts, workout mode begins. Everyone stays together regardless of power output. That's right, if you're outputting 100W and another Zwifter is outputting 400W you will stay in exactly the same position relative to each other. Only if you stop pedaling and fall 6 meters behind the group will the rubber-banding stop.

HELPFUL HINT

We highly recommend doing one of the FTP tests as the estimated FTP can be inaccurate and make the difficulty level of the workouts too high for your current fitness level.
