EVENT DESCRIPTION
This is a WBR Group Ride Event. Your co-operation and teamwork will be essential. No participant should ride off the front of the group. The event is designed as part of WBR’s package of #ProStyleTraining events to assist with the attainment of your training goals. We welcome good banter and aim to create a fun, social atmosphere for your training. Want to complete that century ride? WBR will be running an endurance ride series to help riders achieve those longer distances over the winter. We will start with a 50 km ride midweek and repeat it again on the weekend to allow more flexibility for riders to join the series and also give an opportunity for those in different time zones to take part.

The distance will increase by about 10 km each week and will continue for both the metric and imperial centuries. For the real hardcore riders, Derek will go on further and take riders up to 200 km or more. Pace will be dictated by the group, generally starting around the 2 w/kg target area as this is a very popular group ride pace.
