EVENT DESCRIPTION
The Morning Glory Cycling Club (MGCC) Hang-On Ride is a group ride that will test your limits! We start with an easy lap, gradually increasing the pace from 2.5 up to 3 W/kg. The second lap we will gradually increase even more, just try to hang-on to the A Group! This is not a race, but a hard workout. The goal is to hang-on to the main group for as long as you can, casualties are inevitable!
We will do two laps on the Watopia Figure 8 course (total of 59.6 km with 468 m elevation gain), which covers the entire hilly and flat courses in both directions or three laps on the London 8 course (total of 60.9 km with 740 m elevation gain), which covers the entire London course by combining the “London Loop” and “Classique” routes. It should take somewhere under 2 hours. Come prepared with lots of fluids and food!! And don't forget to sign into Discord (see below).

Please add "MGCC (x)" after your name, where x is your category (A,B,C):
C: 2.5 W/kg to 3.19 W/kg FTP (ride recommended for upper half of this range)
B: 3.2 W/kg to 3.99 W/kg FTP
A: 4.0 W/kg FTP or higher
Power UPs: Allowed / Bikes: No TT Allowed
