EVENT DESCRIPTION
Welcome to the COTA CC Weekly Team Ride. COTA Cycling Club is based in Zurich, Switzerland and unites cycling aficionados with a diverse range of professional and sports backgrounds sharing the same passion.

Our Weekly Team Ride lasts 60min and consists of two parts: the first 30min at a steady pace between 200-250W (2.5-3.0 w/kg) and the second part including 3 sets of 5min at roughly 300W (3.5-4.0 w/kg) with subsequent 5min recovery at 200w (2.5 w/kg). This is a Club Ride designed to help maintain a solid base fitness during European winter - THIS IS NOT A RACE. If you feel strong, take a pull on the front, but don't ride off or increase the wattage beyond the level communicated by the ride leader, and if you want less intensity, sit in the bunch and chat to new friends! We will all re-group after the 5min efforts. Look out for the race leader and follow his instructions.

30min - 3x5min @ 275-325W (3.5-4.0 w/kg)

We aim at having fun while working out with fellow cyclists - there is plenty of other opportunities to race on Zwift.
