EVENT DESCRIPTION
Come and join Team CLS CC to celebrate a year on Zwift with the roads reserved for our group ONLY. For this week ONLY we will ease off the workload to enable everyone to chat / type about our experiences over the past year. How time and TEAM CLS fly.

The ride is NORMALLY aimed at introducing people to some TEMPO and CLIMBING work but this week we will have some competitions that will be announced in ride KOM’s, SPRINTS, and maybe a RACE finish. We may even have some prizes !

Please add the TAG - (CLS) after your surname to take full advantage of post ride results and enable the group to identify each other. We strongly recommend a 15 to 20 mins pre-ride warm up, this will really help you feel the pace is not too hot from the off. Members of our group may like to use one of our Team CLS CC warm up workouts from our Facebook Group www.teamclscc.comOpens a new window. Either the TT warm up or Pre-Ride warm up work well for this from our files section.

After leaving the start gate we settle in to a SPECIAL relaxed ‘Warm Up’ level of 2.0 w/kg. The Ride will then settle into some gentle ‘Tempo’ periods of 2.3 to 2.5 w/kg on the flats. On the climbs this week we will have a bit of FUN so no set w/kg and announced in ride, but we will try and regroup as best we can after.

For your information, we run an INTERVAL session on Tuesday and a relaxing RECOVERY ride on Sunday, both at the same time as this one. Then finally, on Saturday, we have a Social ENDURANCE rides of approximately 50 miles that set off at 14:45 on varied courses, it lasts about 2 to 2 1/2 hours. The Last Saturday of the month is replaced with our Team CLS TT Series which starts at the same time but it’s you against the clock.

We run a Facebook Group - Team CLS CC which we encourage people to follow for news and other group ride info and events. It is also a great place to ask any questions you may have about Zwift and we will do our best to answer them for you. We have tried to put together a FULL weekly package that will allow riders to both enjoy their indoor sessions and back that up with some great workouts that will improve your fitness. Our Rides are entertaining throughout, and we have some fantastic regulars on every ride, so what are you waiting for, come and join us.
