EVENT DESCRIPTION
ABOUT THIS WORKOUT
This workout will be 3 sets of high intensity intervals; each set consists of 6x30sec at 150% and then 6x30sec at 130% - all with 30sec rest, which makes for a great combination and variety of efforts. This workout keeps you focused with rapid transitions.
WORKOUT DESIGNER
Hans Winter is a coach and regular ride leader with Morning Glory Cycling Club (MGCC). You can often find him leading workouts on Zwift or taking part in any of the regular MGCC rides. Hans is an avid MTBer and his workouts tend to reflect the punchy changes of pace required offroad.
ABOUT GROUP WORKOUTS
Zwifters line up in the starting area just like a normal event and once the event starts, workout mode begins. Everyone stays together regardless of power output. That's right, if you're outputting 100W and another Zwifter is outputting 400W you will stay in exactly the same position relative to each other. Only if you stop pedaling and fall 6 meters behind the group will the rubber-banding stop.
HELPFUL HINT
We highly recommend doing one of the FTP tests as the estimated FTP can be inaccurate and make the difficulty level of the workouts too high for your current fitness level.
