The backstory: Ride Like King started in 2009, after Giant Group (https://www.giantcyclinggroup.comOpens a new window) founder King Liu’s epic two-wheeled trip around Taiwan in 2007. The 927km journey reignited the now 86-year-old’s passion for cycling, which hasn’t slowed down.

This year, Giant Group partnered up with World Bicycle Relief (WBR) to back their charitable mission of sending bikes to communities in developing regions, providing easy and efficient transport to help locals. For every 1300 km completed during this event, Giant Group will donate a life-changing Buffalo Bicycle to WBR. Giant Group will also match the total number of bikes unlocked by participants, doubling the impact.
