A combination of speed and endurance, intervals are an essential workout to help improve form, fitness, and overall running economy. Interval workouts consist of a controlled, fast effort followed by a comfortable rest period. Be sure to bring a water bottle and towel. The general structure of Workout Wednesday Intervals consists of three phases: the warm-up, the workout, and the cool-down.
