Ride The Yorkshire Vs Flanders Classic!
In honour of the postponed Flemish Classics and the Tour de Yorkshire, All Things Ride & Dirty Wknd have teamed up to bring you the Yorkshire V Flanders Classic! Sign up to the ride and pick your side - are you Team Yorkshire, or Team Flanders?
With 3 laps of Zwift’s 2019 UCI Worlds Harrogate Course, both Yorkshire and Flemish riders should feel right at home on the short sharp climbs. This is a ride with a competitive edge, as the two great cycling cultures go head to head. It's completely up to you if you wish to 'race' the event, or to just enjoy the ride and the challenge of the course. We will start as one group but it is not a 'no drop' ride. With 40km and 700 meters climbing, riders from each region can work together to race for the win.
PICK YOUR TEAM
Team Yorkshire Kit:
If you wish to join Team Yorkshire, add the word YORKSHIRE to your name in Zwift companion app (i.e. Joe Bloggs Yorkshire) and then change your Zwift kit as per below. .
Go into the game (click ride) and then click P on your keyboard
Enter the code GOWSR and then go to your settings, and change your jersey.
Team Flanders:
If you wish to join Team Flanders, add the word FLANDERS at the end of your name. Then you can change your Zwift kit to the yellow and black kit in the Zwift garage (Basic 1) No code is needed to access the Flemish kit, but you do need to be at least level 2 in Zwift.
Some cheeky prizes are on offer for this ride but you need to pick a side !
