EVENT DESCRIPTION
Welcome to Duathlon Race Series! Joining both worlds of running and
cycling into a racing series!

Main goal of the series is to place as high as you can each weekend.
It's an ongoing series, so you have the possibility to win each weekend.

RUN 1 CATEGORIES:
Run 1 categories are enforced. This won't results in a DQ, but with
additional time penalty of +2 mins for each category for which you
should have actually signed up for.
A: 14.0 kph+
B: 12.0-13.99 kph
C: 10.0-11.99 kph
D: 8 - 9.99 kph
You can run in a higher category with slower speed, but that is a risk
you take for missing the Bike part of the race!

BIKE CATEGORIES:
Bike categories are enforced. Yep, this can result in DQ for the whole
Duathlon race if you go over the w/kg category limit.
No gender differences, hence use your 95% of peak 20 min power and
divide by your weight in kg and pick the correct group.
A: 4.0 W/kg to 5.0 W/kg
B: 3.2 W/kg to 3.99 W/kg
C: 2.5 W/kg to 3.19 W/kg
D: Under 2.49 W/kg

RUN 2 CATEGORIES:
No speed enforcement for Run 2 categories.
Choose the right category, to have enough time to finish the bike part
and start the run! You miss the start, you get a DQ!

TRANSITIONS:
Run 1 => Bike, +2 mins for everyone
Bike => Run 2, +2 mins for everyone

RELAY TEAMS:
Don't have a treadmill or you use a treadmill only at the gym? Don't
have a bike and you only run? No worries! Team relay possible. Two or
three members possible!

for the relay. The only way we can track the racers is you sign up on time!

For individuals, no signup is necessary, as we will simply link the Run
1 + Bike + Run 2 racers.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
After each part of the race, you have to End your run or bike part and
save the session and restart Zwift and login again. There is no other
way at the moment. Switching from Run to Bike can cause pairing issues
as reported by some participants.

IMPORTANT RULES:
- Power Meter & Smart trainer only, No ZPower, HR obligatory
- Double draft = ON
- Power-ups = OFF
- View only race participants = ON
- Its mandatory to have a registered Zwiftpower.com account and accepted
their terms and conditions (with obligatory opt-in on Zwift.com Profile
page) to be in the results of the race
