EVENT DESCRIPTION
Think your basement can’t be epic? Join the 3T / Q+M team for winter rides that get you ready for those early spring gravel events. Barry Roubaix added a 100mi course this year, and Rock Cobbler is in February so lets get to it.

Wednesdays is the digital version of the world famous NachoRide (http://nachori.deOpens a new window). Nacho Ride = Slow, Then Fast, Then Fast, Then Nachos. The first two hours are at a steady but manageable pace, about 3.0w/kg on the front. Have a chat, talk about the weather, talk about masters racers getting busted for doping, debate the New England vs. West Coast IPA. This is a great way to get some miles in at an endurance pace without losing your mind. Then, as veteran NachoRiders know, once we hit Waters Road - hold on. With 30 minutes to go, the pace-car will be lifted and go as hard as you can. Virtual Nachos Not Included. I’ve been assured that Zwift is working on digital-nacho-delivery.

All 3T / Q+M Rides will stick to the posted w/kg. There is a method to this madness. Ride leaders will communicate often and clearly about pace. 2.5 hours is a long time to ride alone; the purpose of these rides is to help each other stay on for long periods of time, so let’s keep it together. If you feel like it’s too easy at first, don’t worry, we promise it will be plenty hard. If 2 hours @ 3.0w/kg plus 30 min at threshold doesn’t make you tired, go race in the World Tour, (or calibrate your equipment properly).
