Join the Veselka Cycling team on a solidarity ride to support Ukraine.
There may not be much we can do but we must try to do what we can.
Veselka Restaurant has been serving up traditional Ukrainian food in the heart of NYC’s East Village since 1954
The neighborhood is home to one the largest Ukrainian communities outside of Europe and is now on the receiving end of an outpouring of love and support. We are working closely with “Razom for Ukraine”, a non-profit organization assisting the people of that country in their continued quest for democracy and progress. We have also partnered with Ostroy, a NYC cycling label founded in the East Village, to create a limited edition blue and yellow Ukraine jersey based on our team’s traditional design.
All participants in the Solidarity Ride will line up at the start, wearing our Veselka team kit during the event.
We hope this ride will “travel” into different corners of the world - via social media or as a series of like minded rides - all to express peaceful solidarity in support of Ukraine. This will be an on-going weekly ride to continue our efforts to support Ukraine.
