Women Only Wednesday Donny Chaingang - WOWDCG powered by Full Speed Events

Run by Full Speed Events' Professor Emma Martin AKA "The Boss" - AEO Zwift Team racer &DS, IRL coach, racer & rider, race commentator.

This is an inclusive ride / ramped workout for all levels of riders and we regularly have everyone from first time Zwift group riders to Continental Professional riders joining in the fun!

Our guest Yellow beacons keep the ride together steadily ramping up the pace until the GoGoGo when they then take on the rest of the riders to see just how quick they really are… it ain’t easy it’s the Donny Chaingang!

Our Red beacons are experienced WOWDCG & DCG riders who will motivate & support anyone who needs help whether it’s your first time or are coming back from injury this really is a ride for all………The red bus rolls every week!

Race coverage is live every week, we try and cover every single rider through the course of the ride and as many as possible over the line from our star riders contesting the first over the line spot to our red bus….. and you can watch on:

How The Donny Chaingang works

This is NOT A RACE but it almost always turns into one .

Before we start TURN ON the Zwift message board it’s more fun and we can all help each other!

We all roll out together at a steady pace keeping everyone together - UNDER 2.5w/kg.

The pace may lift if the Yellow Beacon chooses to do so.

The Red Beacon will be riding at approx 1.5 - 2 w/kg all ride and is there to look after the riders and marks the last group on the road so will drop down below 1.5 w/kg to do so.

DO NOT drop the Yellow Beacon group until ..........the Flag Drops and our Yellow Beacon calls the "GOGOGO" then there are no limits!

The ride will end at a standard Zwift Segment Line ie lap, climb, sprint etc.

We will then have a warm down to the blue fence.
