Connecting a Heart Rate Monitor
Adding a heart rate (HR) monitor to your setup can help you decide when to increase or decrease your effort to achieve your desired results while you're training in Zwift. You can connect nearly any HR monitor in-game, provide it connects and broadcasts HR data via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or ANT+. After connecting your power source (trainer/power meter) or speed sensor, you can choose to connect a heart rate (HR) monitor. To connect your HR monitor, follow the steps below—if you have a 4iiii Viiiiva, you'll want to jump ahead before attempting to connect to Zwift.
Some event rules require a HR monitor is connected to Zwift.
Make sure your HR monitor isn't connected to any apps or devices.
In the PAIRED DEVICES screen, select HEART RATE.
Select your HR monitor from the list.
4iiii Viiiiva
Your Viiiiva HR monitor must have the default name to work with Zwift. If you've given your Viiiiva HR monitor a custom name, you'll have to change it back to the default. Directions on how to do this can be found in Pairing Viiiiva.
Ride On.
