Time trials are the race of truth, where it’s you against the clock: no drafting, no categories, no teams, and no tactics. Contre La Montre is a time trial lasting around 30 minutes (exact time depends on ability) but where every rider starts at the same time.
On Watopia, the race will take place over two laps of the Hilly Route; in Richmond, it will be one lap of the UCI course; and in London, we will race one lap of the London-8 course. Each of these courses provides a mix of terrain, so that one type of rider doesn’t gain an advantage and will require strategy to finish in a quicker time.
