ABOUT
This is a TT-format group ride geared for triathletes but all are welcome to join. Time trialling is known as the "Race of Truth" but this format has the twist of doing an individual time trial but being chased down by faster riders behind you. Choose the group based on your FTP and try to hold off the chasing riders behind you.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Choose your group.
2. The D Group starts first, followed by the C, B and A groups. There is a 2 minute gap between each group.
3. There is no ride leader. When your group starts, put in your best bike split effort and try to hold off the chasing riders behind you.
4. Each Zwifter will be auto-assigned the Zwift time trial bike. This bike does not allow you to draft to simulate the bike split effort of riding solo in a triathlon.
5. When you cross the finish line you will see your finishing time and place within your subgroup
GROUPS
A: 4.0 W/kg FTP or higher
B: 3.2 W/kg to 3.99 W/kg FTP
C: 2.5 W/kg to 3.19 W/kg FTP
D: Under 2.49 W/kg FTP
