DESCRIPCIÓN DEL EVENTO
The Pedal Racing Training Rides are lightly structured, actively managed group rides that increase in intensity as part of a periodized plan that peaks in May. The rides target riders with an FTP in the 2-4 w/kg range, although all riders are welcome. These rides mimic a real outdoor team training ride, as only Zwift can do…inside. The rider leader will call out a w/kg level, mostly on a lap by lap basis, with the occasional inter-lap micro burst. Riders are encouraged to generally stay in the targeted w/kg range in order to maintain group cohesion. However, riders will be regrouped on recovery laps, allowing stronger riders can go harder if desired. Many rides will include a final “race pace” lap, and as Spring approaches, additional race laps will be included.
