About the Workout:
This workout is a short rest, big effort workout where athletes are pushing “tempo” efforts on short rest with the goal of producing close to 40 min of strong, steady work similar to a sprint distance triathlon bike segment but with little 30 sec breaks along the way to reset and have both a mental and physical break but not enough of a break to properly recover. So your body will learn how to flush lactic acid, you will learn about perceived effort and begin to learn what feels “too easy” or “too hard” so that you can replicate your effort on race day.
