DESCRIPTION DE L'ÉVÉNEMENT
ABOUT THIS WORKOUT
Lactate threshold power (LT) isn't the magical number you throw around at the cafe. It is your ability to sustain the highest average power output over a 60min period.
Simply put, any effort higher than your LT, your body produces lactic acid at a greater rate than it can clear it. The higher your LT (as a percentage of anaerobic capacity and weight) the faster you will complete 3Peaks.
This workout involves 4 x 4 minute efforts at 96% FTP.
WORKOUT DESIGNER
World class cyclist, Mick Curran, offers Coaching Programs, Bike Fitting, Lactate Testing and Power Profile Tests. He also teams up with highly qualified and experienced physiotherapists and massage therapists to offer so many services to cyclist and non-cyclists alike.
Allow him to pass on his knowledge of training and racing which has seen him break World Records and win World Titles, World Cups and multiple National Championships.

ABOUT GROUP WORKOUTS
Zwifters line up in the starting area just like a normal event and once the event starts, workout mode begins. Everyone stays together regardless of power output. That's right, if you're outputting 100W and another Zwifter is outputting 400W you will stay in exactly the same position relative to each other. Only if you stop pedaling and fall 6 meters behind the group will the rubber-banding stop.
HELPFUL HINT
We highly recommend doing one of the FTP tests as the estimated FTP can be inaccurate and make the difficulty level of the workouts too high for your current fitness level.
