EVENT DESCRIPTION
HPL Cycling is the premiere masters cycling team based out of Saskatchewan, Canada. Check us out at https://www.hplcycling.caOpens a new window.
Each week we will ride at an endurance pace with focus and control. Riding as a disciplined group, sticking with the yellow beacon is the goal. On occasion your ride leaders may open up the group to sprinting, once the sprint is complete, please regroup on the yellow beacon. We challenge you to complete the full two hours. If you complete the 2 hours, you will unlock the HPL Cycling kit!
The ride is speed based versus W/kg based. As a result the speeds will increase and decrease with the terrain of the course but effort will remain fairly consistent. The effort required to hold each categories indicated average speed is specific to the individual so choose the category that fits your ability. Each categories overall average speed is indicated in their descriptions.
