Galaxy Tours Endurance Race Series: Starting Sunday 16th February 2025 for ten weeks:
Tour de Badgers is a ten-stage endurance race series suitable for all riders including six event-only badge hunter routes. All routes in this tour have a Bidon Rating* of 2 Bidons and are expected to take between 40 to 80 mins to complete for most riders (* zwift-routes-checklist-20250102.pdf)
Stage 1: 16-Feb-25 Yorkshire Double Loops, 29.6km: 547 m elevation
Stage 2: 23-Feb-25 InnsbruckConti, 13km: 480 m elevation
Stage 3: 2-Mar-25 Queens Highway After Party, 19.8km: 301 m elevation
Stage 4: 9-Mar-25 Tair Dringfa Fechan, 32km: 349 m elevation
Stage 5: 16-Mar-25 Classique Reverse, 5 laps, 34.6km: 320 m elevation
Stage 6: 23-Mar-25 Makuri 40, 40.3km: 317 m elevation
Stage 7: 30-Mar-25 Outer Scotland, 3 laps, 33.5km: 312 m elevation
Stage 8: 6-Apr-25 Itza Climb Finish, 30km: 294 m elevation
Stage 9: 13-Apr-25 Petite Douleur, 24.8km: 386 m elevation
Stage 10: 20-Apr-25 The Classic 5 laps, 27.6km: 261 m elevation
Time zones: Two time zones are available corresponding to Sunday morning in local time:
Zone 1: 09:15 UTC (08:15 UTC from 30th March) - Europe Sunday morning
Zone 2: 16:00 UTC (15:00 UTC from 9th March) - Americas Sunday morning
Categories: Zwift Racing Score (ZRS) will be used to categorise riders A to D as follows: A. 550+; B. 375 – 549; C. 200 – 374; D. 0 - 199
Riders can sign up to the pen that matches their ZRS category or a higher category. If you are at risk of upgrading during the series, please enter all races at a higher category. Pen start times are one minute apart.
Series completion and GC league: For each stage, individuals are ranked by their finishing time. The stage winner is the rider that completes the stage in the lowest time. To complete Tour de Badgers, finish all ten of the Bidon 2 routes. At the end of the series, the overall GC winner in each ZRS category will be the individual with the lowest accumulated time across the ten Tour de Badger Stages. DQs: Galaxy CC reserve the right to remove rider from the race and league results if a rider's power exceeds expected category limits during a race or may request that a rider race up a category based on their previous racing history. Riders suspected of using ‘ sticky watts’ or using an unnatural pedalling style may also be removed from the results at the race organisers discretion. A HRM and a power meter/smart trainer is required. No Zpower users.
