EVENT DESCRIPTION
Introducing the Squadra Castelli workout series for 2022/23.
If you're looking to prepare for a 2023 Gran Fondo then search no more, this is the group for you. Whether it’s L’Etape du Tour, Maratona dles Dolomiti or the UCI Gran Fondo Series, we have you covered.
If you don't have a goal for 2023, why not choose an event then train with us? Strade Bianche, Il Lombardia or Paris-Roubaix anybody?
To close out the year, we'll complete an 8-week block of workouts from Zwift's Granfondo plan. Building on the solid foundation we've established, we'll launch 2023 with a 12-week plan through March.
Every week, we complete two workouts at 17:45 GMT on Mondays and Wednesdays. The workouts last approximately 60 minutes each.
The plan is suitable for all fitness levels. Before beginning, we recommend performing an FTP test.

Monday: 'Welcome Workout' - 50 minutes, 49 stress points

Wednesday: 'Introductory Intervals' - 55 minutes, 46 stress points

Two rounds of progressively harder - but shorter - intervals in the sub-threshold zones.
Weekend homework:
