EVENT DESCRIPTION
ABOUT THIS WORKOUT
Every Tuesday evening at 4 PM Pacific, Slowtwitch.com will bring you a triathlon-focused cycling workout. Workouts will be written by a variety of sources, including Slowtwitch.com's Dan Empfield, coaches, pro athletes, and more.
Workouts will last 60 minutes and will help add variety and interest to your weekly training schedule.
HOW IT WORKS
You'll line up in the starting area just like a normal event. Once the event starts, workout mode begins. Everyone stays together regardless of power output: if you're outputting 100W and another Zwifter is outputting 400W, you will stay in exactly the same position relative to each other. The rubberbanding will only stop if you stop pedaling and fall more than six meters behind the group.
We highly recommend doing one of the FTP tests as Zwift's estimated FTP can be inaccurate and make the difficulty level of the workouts too high. For more info on FTP go to: https://support.zwift.com/hc/en-us/articles/210208083-What-is-FTP-and-how-is-it-used-in-ZwiftOpens a new window
