EVENT DESCRIPTION
Please join us on Soaring Saturday and leave all your worries at the door to your pain cave/riding room. We welcome riders who like to go long on the weekend.
The yellow beacon will endeavor to ride at a pace of between 1.5 and 2.0 w/kg. The activation of the no-kick fence will be at the yellow beacon's discretion and used only as a guide for newer riders to let them know they're leaving the main group behind – the objective of the ride, as with all our group rides, is to share a little longer time together and enjoy the camaraderie. We employ a fab group of sweepers to accompany and/or help riders rejoin the main yellow group. We intend that no one ride alone unless they want to do so.
We will ride a variety of routes, hoping to tackle some of the longer and more challenging routes in Zwift so the ride will generally be 120 minutes in length but occasionally be set for distance to allow for a specific route badge. We will not shy away from climbs or non paved surfaces. If you don't have time to complete the longer route(s), you may always leave the ride without quitting it and come back later to complete the route.

You'll need to finish a few rides before you can join your first scored race. With more data we'll be able to recommend the best group for you to compete against.
