EVENT DESCRIPTION
ABOUT THIS WORKOUT
The newest addition to the Slowtwitch Indoors ride portfolio, Casual Fridays are a no-drop structured training ride to get you prepared for the weekend, hosted each week with our friends on Team Every Man Jack. Each ride will feature a relatively mellow workout with some harder efforts thrown in to wake up the body for a weekend of hard training.
HOW IT WORKS
You'll line up in the starting area just like a normal event. Once the event starts, workout mode begins. Everyone stays together regardless of power output: if you're outputting 100W and another Zwifter is outputting 400W, you will stay in exactly the same position relative to each other. The rubberbanding will only stop if you stop pedaling and fall more than six meters behind the group.
We highly recommend doing one of the FTP tests as Zwift's estimated FTP can be inaccurate and make the difficulty level of the workouts too high. For more info on FTP go to: https://support.zwift.com/hc/en-us/articles/210208083-What-is-FTP-and-how-is-it-used-in-ZwiftOpens a new window
