EVENT DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION

Come and join us as GCN host a handicap race on Zwift! Open to all abilities and with staggered starts this event gives all levels of Zwifters the chance to win. Whether you are a current pro racer or this is your first race on Zwift we will set the groups off at different times so everyone has the chance of reaching the finish line at the same time!

How does the race work you ask? The slowest group - Group D will leave first with a gap of 7 minutes ahead of the Cs then the Bs 3 minutes later and the As 2 minutes after the Bs.

GCN Presenters Oscar Pujol will be racing in group A and James Lowsley-Williams in the B - let's see if the C and D groups can keep them away or will Oscar and the A's catch everyone up and beat them to the line!?

Unsure of what group you should join? Check out the details below on how to chose your group based on FTP. The aim of the race is to work within your group to stay ahead of the category racers behind you - work as a team - use the draft and try and get someone from your group to the winning position - maybe it will be you!

These races typically see the groups forming one bunch near the end of the race distance - if you feel the faster group behind breathing down your neck - kick up the pace to keep them away or get ready to latch on to their draft and try hitch a ride to the finish
