Zwift’s final mission of 2019 is the perfect send-off for both runners and riders. Two distinct month-long events, one for Run and one for Cycling, are about to kick off. Next-level Zwifters can even take on both should they want an additional challenge as well a chance at both grand prizes.
Runners
Welcome to the New Balance Marathon Mission. Run a total 26.2 miles over two weeks in December to unlock the stylish in-game New Balance Run Club kit.
Not enough? Well, completing the mission also enters your name in a sweepstakes to win the grand prize: a race bib to the 2020 London Marathon as well as $1,500 USD to help get you there! One of the most exclusive races in the world, the London Marathon only accepts about 10% of total applicants. If you’re seeking a new challenge, it doesn’t get better than this.
Riders
Introducing the Prudential RideLondon Century Mission. Ride a total of 100 miles over the course of December to unlock the stylish in-game Prudential RideLondon kit.
If that wasn’t enough, going the distance and finishing the mission also enters your name into a drawing to win a full Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 VIP Experience. What does this mean? It means pre-ride hospitality in the famous Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park velodrome (Lee Valley VeloPark) with hot and cold breakfast + drinks. It means bag-drop service and a mechanic for last-minute adjustments at the velodrome. It means fast-track loading at the Start and VIP changing facilities at the Finish, with plenty of food and drinks waiting. Winning the Mission’s grand prize also net you $1,500 USD to help get you to London!
Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 is one of the most renowned sportives in the world, with around 25,000 racers setting off from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Want to be one of them? Finish the mission, and you may just get your chance.
You’ll be able to rack up your miles in any Zwift world. Want to knock out a chunk in New York then head to Innsbruck? Go for it. Would you rather spend all your time and effort in Watopia?
