Saturday, May 8th
EVENT-BESCHREIBUNG
May is Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month in the United States. Join us in celebrating this vast and diverse community. Our goal during this time is to send a resounding message to our AAPI employees and Zwifters that we embrace them, not just in May but throughout the year.
We’re going to show the love in one of our favorite ways: rides and runs, many with AAPI employees leading.
Ride with our CEO, Eric Min
Join us on Saturday, May 8th for our marquee event — a ride through Watopia led by our CEO, Eric Min. Eric and the leadership team are fearlessly leading our organization in our quest towards “One Zwift For All”.
Eric is excited to join Watopians from all over the globe in celebration of the AAPI community. Born in Seoul, South Korea, Eric’s family emigrated to the USA when he was a boy. Cycling and fitness have always been a part of Eric’s DNA and so he soon fell in love with the New York cycling scene, reaching the USA Olympic training camp as a junior. Though Eric now lives in the U.K., he still considers himself a New Yorker.
Route: Sand & Sequoias
Length: 20.2 km (12.6 miles)
Elevation: 146 m (479‘)
Lead-In: 2.4 km (1.5 miles)
