This group ride today has been brought to you all on Zwift to celebrate and honour the life of our Galaxy teammate,
Martin Friedrich, who was taken far too soon at the tender age of 54.
Martin and his wife, Inka, were both keen Zwifters but also enjoyed to cycle in the great outdoors too.
It was a sunny late September afternoon when Martin said goodbye to his wife and set off on his road bike. During his
ride, he was overlooked by a car driver. The impact was so severe that Martin did not survive his serious injuries and
despite extensive medical interventions, he passed away the following day.
