DESCRIPCIÓN DEL EVENTO
WHAT IS CATEGORY ENFORCEMENT?
Category Enforcement will prevent Zwifters from entering a category they are not eligible for. Our goal is to increase fairness in racing.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- Zwift checks a racer's past performance using VO2 max and FTP to determine their race category.
- Racers can join a category at or above their category. For example, if you are "C" category, you can race in C, B, or A category. You can not race in the D category.
The [DBR] race are for A-B-C-D categories. All will start with 1 minute between categories. Expect each race to be highly competitive. For a fair race, respect the categories and sign up in your correct category.
Results will be available at zwiftpower.com. Remember to create a ZwiftPower account and connect Zwift Power on your Zwift Account/Connections to be in the results. Choose the right Category, and most of all, have Fun and Ride On
RULES:
- All racers using zPower will be DQ
No TT bikes unless it's a TT event.
Heart rate monitors compulsory for all categories
You need to have a registered account with Zwiftpower.com and accepted their terms and conditions to be in the results of the race.
Choosing lower category than ZwiftPower says will cause DQ
A: 4.0 W/kg and above
B: 3.2 W/kg to 3.99 W/kg
C: 2.5 W/kg to 3.19 W/kg
D: Below 2.5 W/kg
Race organizers may request riders in all categories to provide a dual recording or a matching RL effort (Strava) in order to verify a Zwift race effort. Failure to comply may result in disqualification from the event. Failure to provide a dual recording or RL effort on three requests may result in disqualification from future events, until a dual recording with a matching effort is provided.
Race organizers may exclude a rider from the results, due to poor sportsmanship. Examples may be bad language, sandbagging or other behaviour of a disruptive manner.
