DESCRIPCIÓN DEL EVENTO
In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, for the month of May, The Bear Mountaineers will be partnering with The Ride for Mental Health and riding in their Zwift club RFMH jersey. Unlock the jersey when completing the ride.

Be sure to check out The Ride for Mental Health on Zwift every Tuesday morning at 6:45 AM ET and/or join the in-person event on June 22 & 23, 2024. Go to rideformentalhealth.org for lots more information.

These events will test your climbing legs for sure. One of the main reasons the Bear Mountaineers was created was to get ready to climb Bear Mountain in Harriman St. Park, New York. This will prepare you to tackle your favorite climbs once you get back outside again.
Just to work into it slowly we have 4 categories separated by distance not power. We also have several leaders who ride at different paces and will rotate leading the A Category distance in our events.

Depending on which leader you get will determine the pace of the lead group. If you can't stay with the lead group, please join others riding at a pace you can handle. If you keep doing these events the climbing will get easier (Well that's the plan).

Malik Graves-Pryor 'A' Pacer
Andre Corba 'C+ to B' Pacer, this is the leader you will see most of the time.
Bryant Stafford 'C+' Pacer, this is main leader of most events and Andre's backup
Henry Holmes 'C to C+' pacer

During the months of April to the end of October there may not be an assigned leader due to the outside riding season.
