Time flies when you are having fun, but this is not a race, we just want to enjoy your company. Come and join team Velos for a D paced beginner friendly social spin for 60 minutes. Please pace with the yellow beacon at 1.5 - 1.8 w/kg. It’s a group ride so we encourage lots of chatter, maybe test you with some trivia questions and give you the opportunity to show off your pacing skills. Shout outs are given to those who catch the eye of the yellow beacon for riding close. Our supportive red beacon team will help any riders who drop behind to pace back to the yellow beacon if requested. Feel free to join in with the on screen chat, test your legs on a sprint or two or drop and help sweep at the back if your legs are strong. The fence may be used to encourage riders to work together and maximise the draft. Late join is available within the first 30 minutes and a Velos jersey is yours to keep if you complete the ride. We start and finish as a group and encourage all riders to look out for each other.
