Every Thursday our Training Members are guided by coach Helen Bridgman. In case you missed it or want to have a taste of what and how we train, we are making our workout available every Friday, with no lead. So put on some music and enjoy! You might even find one of our DSs on the road to chat with.
Session: Pyramid Double
Warm up gradually over 5 minutes to begin with. The move into a warm up ramp from z2 up to threshold, increasing power every minute. Nice steady cadence for this to really warm you up and get the legs ready to work. The 5 mins riding easy to recover before the main workout begins.
Pyramid session, with 2 times up and down the pyramid, starting at zone 3 and ramping up the effort every 2 minutes. The top effort is just below FTP before you go back down the pyramid. Then spin easy for 5 minutes before repeating the pyramid.
Cadence should be 85-95 during both the ramps.
This sessions aims at building endurance and strength on the bike, plus some resistance to fatigue as the steps down the pyramid will bite a little and we do this twice!

Tu dois terminer quelques sorties vélo avant de pouvoir participer à ta première compétition avec score de course. Lorsque nous aurons plus de données, nous serons en mesure de te recommander le groupe qui te correspondra le mieux pour te mesurer aux autres.
