DESCRIZIONE EVENTO
For 12 weeks, Olympic gold medalists, Kristin Armstrong and Dani Rowe, will bring key workouts they’ve used throughout their careers to Zwifters around the world.

About this workout:

This week we are going to put all of our hard work to the test. We will work all zones as well as extend the duration working for a total of 2 x 17-minute mock event efforts with a nice steady Zone 3 effort between. This ride will be a test of your physical strength as well as your mental strength while keeping it REAL and of course FUN…

About the series:

Whether you’re preparing for an upcoming race, building general fitness, or coming back from injury, these workouts will help tune your engine and get you ready to go. They’re efficient: quality over quantity. And whether you do all 12 weeks or just a few, you’ll feel the results. We promise.

Together, Kristin and Dani aim to help you reach your 2020 goals! Over the course of 12 weeks, each and every workout will be offered at several time zones throughout the week, with Kristin and Dani joining live, twice a month. See you in Watopia!

Who’s Kristin?
Kristin Armstrong is the most decorated U.S. women’s cyclist of all time and the best time-trialist in sports history. A three-time Olympic Gold Medalist and two-time World Champ, Armstrong is the only female athlete to win the same event in three consecutive Olympic Summer Games (Beijing 2008, London 2012, Rio 2018). These days, she’s in Boise, Idaho, where she’s started a business called PIVOT Lifestyle + Fitness that focuses on health and fitness. And, some days, she pops into the Zwift studio to offer insight with the PowerUp Cycling Podcast.

Who’s Dani?

Dani Rowe née King is a three-time World Champion, two-time European Champion, Olympic Gold Medalist, and the World Record holder for the 3km Team Pursuit, Rowe was an absolute legend in the saddle. In 2018, at age 28, Rowe has retired from professional cycling, and now spends her time working with sponsors, partners, and making media appearances. And that’s not even getting into her very own coaching business, Rowe and King. And, some days, she pops into the Zwift studio to offer insight with the PowerUp Cycling Podcast.
