EVENT DESCRIPTION
Welcome to Puncheur Series brought to you as a collaboration by Team Finesse and Revolution Velo Racing! Get ready for some fast punchy races without all the complications of power-ups or double draft. Also enjoy the UPDATED CATEGORY LIMITS for Puncheur Series races. These should help out the lighter riders. Just know you are welcome to race your regular category if you wish.

Your best 5 out of 6 races will count for the final series standings. The race series will start on 2/7 and run through 3/14. We will score men and women separately in each category, and track an overall team score. You will see the standings on each race separately and as a running total. You do NOT need to pre-select your squads. Show up, enter the right category, race hard, and we’ll sort out all the details using your team affiliation on Zwift Power. Don’t have a team? No worries, you can still compete for individual points.

Results will be posted on the Revolution Velo Fans page. Please be patient, as it will take some manual effort on our part due to the non-standard category limits listed below.

HRM mandatory for A and B categories
No zPower for A and B categories
CEVAZ limits apply

****Updated Category Limits****
(A) 4.0+ W/kg & 270+ FTP
(B) 3.2 - 4.0 W/kg & 230+ FTP
(C) 2.5 - 3.2 W/kg & 170+ FTP
(D) 1.0 - 2.5 W/kg FTP

Example: If your FTP is 2.9 W/kg but your FTP in watts is 160, you could chose to race C OR D category!

Be sure to join the appropriate category as described above. If you exceed the category limits or have recently demonstrated much higher performance, you will be upgraded accordingly. However, it is expected that you race this higher category from there onward. If you fail to do so after two warnings your results will be DQ'd. The Race Directors' decision is final.
