From the Santa Monica pier down to the Long Beach boardwalk—Watopia’s downtown takes its cues from sunny SoCal’s coastal wonderland.

Stage 1

Welcome to Alpe du Zwift, the in-game climb built using GPS data from France’s iconic Alpe d’Huez!

Stage 2

Fuego Flats is home to Watopia’s first dino, right outside Hank’s Oil & Gas—foreshadowing the dino jungle in Titan’s Grove that would come later.

Stage 3

Can you guess which 1985 adventure film inspired the Coastal Village? Bonus points if you get the 80s pop icon the designers listened to on repeat!

Stage 4

The original route on Zwift is back and better than ever—time to ride through a piece of Zwift history on the island that started it all.

Stage 5

Get ready for five epic stages, starting with some of the first routes in Watopia. From there, it’s all about cruising through fan-favorite rides on our way back to Zwift’s early days, where a special surprise awaits.
