EVENT DESCRIPTION
This workout is a variation on the popular (and productive) 2*20minutes sets which are a regular feature of many TT / Triathlon training schedules.
Each 20 minute block will feature four, one-minute segments above FTP before immediately returning to a Tempo effort. Hence ’Tempo with a Twist’ is the session name.
Often in races, it is not possible to maintain power at a steady level, and so training for variability will make it more comfortable on race day, when race and / or course dynamics mean that you have no choice to ride in that manner.

Getting started with scored races
You'll need to finish a few rides before you can join your first scored race. With more data we'll be able to recommend the best group for you to compete against.
