Wanna build your Alpe pace but want a wheel to follow? Join our rides where a beacon will pace you at 4 different paces.
Hold pace until ya crack, then come back again and get to the next switchback.
2nd Saturday of the month
8.00 am CT 60 min pace
9.30 am CT 75 min pace
3rd Saturday of the month
8.00 am CT 65 min pace
9.30 am CT 70 min pace
Pro tips
1) Look at your best Alpe time on Strava, there will be a segment for the entire climb with average watts for the entire climb. Beating that target by 5 watts each segment is your target for each segment and its trackable.
2) Use all the tools in the toolbox:
• Cardiovascular = Seated higher rpm
• Legs = Standing low rpm
• Legs = Seated low rpm
3) A steady pace for the first 75% and push at the end, start out to hot you’ll suffer at the top.
