Zwift Academy Semi-Finals: Now 12 Riders Strong!

Big Announcement for Zwift Academy! We’ve got 2 more Semi-Finalists: Tessa Fabry and Jessie Donavan are moving on to the next round.

Despite having qualifying performances, these two riders were omitted from the original Semi-Final list due to questions about their professional status. Upon further investigation, including a review of official cycling licenses and team/sponsor standings, our panel of judges have concluded, without question, that they are not professional cyclists and therefore eligible to move on to the next round.

Jessie Donavan
A mother of 3, Jessie lives in Vermont with her family and has been cycling for 10 years, with a focus on triathlon. She is 3X Ironman Champion who has a background in nordic skiing. Jessie works as a senior analyst in enrollment planning at the University of Vermont.

Tessa Fabry
When she’s not taking photographs or working as a bike courier in Brunswick, Australia, Tessa studies urban planning at university. She started riding a fixed gear bike 5 years ago and transitioned to racing in 2013. Tessa races road, mountain and cyclocross.
