CycleOps Endless Summer Series Finale
ABOUT
Cool weather and loss of daylight have you ready to call it quits for the season? Don't hang up your bicycle just yet, join the CycleOps Endless Summer Series powered by Zwift!
COURSE INFO
COURSE: Volcano Flat
LAP DISTANCE: 7.7 mi / 12.3 km
ELEVATION GAIN: 151 ft / 46 m
LAPS: 4
TOTAL DISTANCE: 30.8 mi / 49.57 km
PACE: The CycleOps Endless Summer Ride is a group ride designed around a steady 2-3w/kg warm-up, followed by an all out effort to wrap things up. Group must be together at the start of the final lap, no flyers here folks, so please watch for messaging during the ride and respect the pace of the ride leader. Pacing begins at 2.0 w/kg for the first lap and increases 0.5w/kg max each lap after. The idea is to stay together for the first three laps, then it's game on for the fourth and final lap! (1st lap 2.0 w/kg, 2nd lap 2.5 w/kg, 3rd lap 3.0 w/kg, last lap race pace)
Please add (CycleOps) after your last name; ex. - J. Smith (CycleOps) in Zwift and save your activity to Strava using the title CycleOps Endless Summer Series.
*Note* Be mindful of the draft effect on Zwift. Just like in the real-world, if you lose the draft of the group you can quickly find yourself chasing back up!
PRIZES
One lucky Zwifter will be chosen at random to win a CycleOps Magnus Smart Trainer. Contest open to all North American Zwifters 18+ years who complete the event.
