EVENT DESCRIPTION
Wahoo Le Col is proud to present the Wahoo Le Col Saturday Brunch Series 2022/23 Season - Round 1 starting on the 10th of September 2022.
This will be a 6 race series designed to complement the ZRL Series 2022/23 Season - Round 1. We want to allow teams to hold their own ‘ride-outs’ to decide who to put forward as their crews for the Tuesday night showdowns. This is your opportunity to recce the ZRL course in a race environment before the actual event. Use it to confirm teams and tactics.
Expect each race to be highly competitive. For a fair race, respect the categories and sign up in your right category. We use Zwift Category Enforcement, you are welcome to chance your prowess in higher categories but the system will not allow you to enter
below your calculated capabilities! Not that you’d want to.
Results can be seen at zwiftpower.com, as well as on Facebook in Wahoo Le Col, Zwift Racers and Zwift Riders groups and will be based on your category. Your best 4 race results count towards your overall placing as an individual. There is also a team
competition.
Remember to create a ZwiftPower account and connect ZwiftPower on your Zwift Account/Connections to be on the result list. Choose the right category, and most of all have Fun and Ride On.
RULES:
- All racers using zPower will be DQ
- No TT bikes
- Heart rate monitors are compulsory for all categories
- You need to have a registered account with Zwiftpower.com and accepted their terms and conditions to be in the results of the race.
Choosing a lower category than ZwiftPower says will cause DQ.
Categories are as follows: (subject to Zwift’s current homologation exercise with Zwiftpower, Category Enforcement will put riders in the correct group)
A: 4.0 W/kg to 5.0 W/kg
B: 3.2 W/kg to 3.99 W/kg
C: 2.5 W/kg to 3.19 W/kg
D: Under 2.49 W/kg
Race organizers may request riders in all categories to provide a dual recording or a matching RL effort (Strava) in order to verify a Zwift race effort. Failure to comply may result in a time penalty or disqualification from the event. Failure to provide a dual recording or RL effort on three requests may result in disqualification from future events until a dual recording with a matching effort is provided.
