A chase-style race is loads of fun because you work with others in your CAT to try and stay ahead of the faster riders. Wait for your group’s horn to sound: Ds take off first, then staggered starts release the Cs, Bs, and As from their pens with increasingly harder efforts required. If the group behind catches you, try to work with them to the finish. Each CAT wears a different kit, making it easier to see the group you are working to catch. Chase races help you learn how to work WITH a team, since a tighter bunch means a faster group. You will master team racing skills and get stronger whilst having fun along the way: the winning formula for ALL Velos events!
