Galaxy CC are excited to announce the return of The Galaxy Summer Punch Party Racing Series!
Get ready your legs ready for a cocktail of punchy climbs with some sprint chasers!!
A series of ten multi-lap courses with intermediate points up for grabs on every lap for the FASTEST THROUGH the key segments. Best 6 races out of 10 will determine the series champions. Race for yourself or for your team.
The series starts Sat 13th July for 10 weeks. Three different race times are available:
Zone 1: 07.15 UTC (08:15 BST/ 09:15 CEST/ 17:15 AEST)
Zone 2: 11.20 UTC (12.20 BST/ 13.20 CEST/ 06:20 CDT)
Zone 3: 16.15 UTC (17.15 BST/ 18.15 CEST/ 11:15 CDT/ 09:15 PDT)
13/7/2024: Rolling Highlands 3 laps, 32km: Breakaway Brae (inc lead in)
20/7/2024: Cobbled Climbs 2 laps, 18.7km: Libby Hill, 23rd Street
27/7/2024: Hilly Route (Rev) 2 laps, 18.6km: JWB Sprint Rev, Hilly Kom Reverse
3/8/2024: Innsbuckring 2 laps, 17.8km: Legsnapper, Sprint
10/8/2024: Casse Pattes 1 lap, 23.9km: Pave Sprint, Aqueduc, Petit Kom, Marina sprint
17/8/2024: Greater London 8 1 lap, 20.8km: Mall Rev Sprint, Box Hill (double points!)
24/8/2024: Figure 8 Reverse 1 lap, 30km: Watopia Sprint rev, Kom rev, Sprint, KOM
31/8/2024: UCI Worlds Harrogate 2 laps, 27.7km: Yorkshire KOM, Yorkshire Sprint
7/9/2024: Rising Empire 1 laps, 21.2km: NY KOM, NY KOM reverse (double points!)
14/9/2024: Rooftop Rendezvous 4 laps, 17.7km: Rooftop KOM
Finishing points: 1st=50, 2nd=48, 3rd=46, 4th=43, 5th=40, 6th=38, 7th=36, 8th=34, 9th=32, 10th=30. Points then reduce down by 1 point up to 40th place.
Fastest Across Segment (FTS) points per lap: 1st = 20, 2nd = 18, 3rd = 16, 4th = 13, 5th = 10, 6th = 8, 7th = 6, 8th = 4, 9th = 2, 10th = 1
Up to a max of 130 points per race.
Leagues for individual riders and teams will be setup for each time zone. You will need to race in the same time zone each week to have your points carried over into the league.
Individual standings for the league are determined by the total points accumulated across the races and the best six races out of ten races will count. Team standings are determined by the top three team members based on points in each category per race (your primary team in Zwift Power).
Zwift Category Enforcement using (Open/Mixed Pace Groups) will be used. All categories will see each other during the race but points/results will be awarded by category. If you are at risk of upgrading during the series please enter all races at the higher category as points cannot be transferred. Galaxy CC reserve the right to DQ a rider if a rider's power exceeds cat limits during a race and may request that a rider race up a category based on their previous racing history. Riders suspected of using ‘ sticky watts’ or using an unnatural pedalling style may be removed from the results at the discretion of the race organiser. A HRM and a power meter/smart trainer is required to be included in the leagues tables (no ZPower users). No TT bikes.

You'll need to finish a few rides before you can join your first scored race. With more data we'll be able to recommend the best group for you to compete against.
